It was a sunny night
Days were long, your hand in mine
Just like summer rain, mild and innocent
You had me when our eyes met
I trace your footprints
Wanna follow where you lead
But I won’t object if you wanna chase me
Like stars in the night sky, imaginary lines
Can’t break the bond we’ve tied
Hand on the wheel, with one hand on my arm
Full throttle, windows down on the car
Clouds of dust, and jokes where we spent, how
Outside the restaurant, where we met
As we drive out of this town
It was a sunny night
Days were long, your hand in mine
Just like summer rain, mild and innocent
You had me when our eyes met
I trace your footprints
Wanna follow where you lead
But I won’t object if you wanna chase me
Like stars in the night sky, imaginary lines
Can’t break the bond we’ve tied
Full throttle, windows down on the car
Outside the restaurant, where we met
As we drive out of this town
